KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Programs

  • Design and implement new processes to improve program efficiency and client experience for current and new programs and train staff and mentors accordingly
  • Manage the Programs and Client Experience Coordinators working within the Accelerator Centre's Community Programs
  • Lead the delivery of the Accelerator Centre's Alumni Program including:
  • Being responsible for sales and revenue targets within the program.
  • Maintaining regular communication and touchpoints with alumni
  • Build strong working relationships with and advocate for clients and encourage their success using internal tracking processes and monitoring client activity and engagement.
  • Responsible for client experience initiatives within the Community Programs including finding, deploying, managing and maintaining all customer experience platforms and tools.
  • Offer programming and event recommendations to senior leadership based on observations and client conversations
  • Lead the Programs and Client Experience Team in government reporting related to the Accelerator Centre's Community Programs
  • Provide support and leadership to cross organizational teams/projects providing input from a programming and client perspective.

International Programs

  • Work with the Director, Programs and Client Experience to secure licensing and programming deals with accelerators and incubators internationally.
  • Find opportunities for joint programming initiatives with international accelerators and incubators
  • Assist in program design for the International Acceleration Program and lead the delivery of programming to international partners
  • Lead the project management of all current and new licensing and international programming agreements within the Accelerator Centre.
  • Provide consulting services to accelerators and incubators working with the Accelerator Centre in a licensing or international programming partnership.
  • Design and implement customer experience processes for licensing and International Acceleration Program clients.
  • Monitor and assess the success of customer experience processes for licensing and international programming clients.
  • Account management of all licensing and international programming clients as well as postengagement follow ups to find other ways for the Accelerator Centre to provide continued support.
  • Manage and lead the success of the Accelerator Centre's Startup Visa Program.

Client Experience

  • Consistently and proactively meet with entrepreneurs within our Community Programs to develop a deep understanding of their needs in the program.
  • Collect ongoing entrepreneur feedback, identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist in securing partnerships to enhance the Accelerator Centre's offerings to clients.
  • Be the Chief Everything Officer (CEO), find opportunity in every task and support the company and team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Minimum 7 years of experience providing exceptional customer experiences for clients or industry partners and administering programs by implementing processdriven initiatives
  • Postsecondary education in business management, operations, event management, related discipline, or equivalent business experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Conducts business in a professional manner at all times, leading by example with a positive team attitude in all aspects
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills
  • A selfstarter that can work under mínimal supervision and can juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior sales experience is an asset
  • Willing and able to travel internationally
  • Must be comfortable and proficient performing all job functions on a PC

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience working with international stakeholders
  • Has an understanding of the startup life cycle
  • Has used HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems
