Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's logistics management function, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products and materials to their destinations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all aspects of the organization's logistics management function, including controlling, receiving, delivering, and distributing products and materials.
  • Implement existing strategic objectives and formulate a comprehensive strategy, metrics, and procedures for optimizing packing activities, logístical networks and operations.
  • Utilize analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost.
  • Oversee critical inventory, distribution, and transportation operations to support the achievement of organizational goals and KPIs for product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Select transportation vendors, negotiate rates and service levels, and monitor vendor performance to ensure the highest quality of service.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations governing the transportation of goods to guarantee safe and legal practices.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of supervisory logistics experience within the manufacturing sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics functions and department processes.
  • High level of proficiency with transportation management and ERP softwares.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and ensure project/department milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics best practices.
