Program Supervisor - Spruce Grove, Canada - Bridge to Care
Description
As the Residential Supervisor, you will work directly with the Director and Programs Manager to set, monitor, and evaluate program performance goals.
You will provide day-to-day operational oversight to meet short and long term goals for both persons served and personnel.You will take responsibility for the organization maintaining high professional standards in all aspects of service delivery and personnel management.
You will oversee outcomes, ensuring a high degree of accuracy, consistency and quality of documentation of program files.You will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure communication between care teams, management, stakeholders, and families of persons served are consistent and dependable.
You will guide, educate and advocate for clients, families, as well as your service team.Job Duties:
- Provide Leadership and direction ensuring that all services are consistent with organizational mandate, philosophy and policy, legal, contractual, budgetary and other requirements
- Coordinate and conduct family and persons served orientation, ensuring quality improvement standards are met, handling concerns or required actionables, developing and arranging personal care services to ensure that quality service is provided to meet client and family needs.
- Coordinate and conduct personnel orientations to the Placement Program
- Perform evaluations of personnel, support and supervise them across various program areas
- Oversee the planning, staff scheduling and implementation of daytoday activities and procedures
- Review problem situations and work to resolve difficult or sensitive issues
- Monitors the delivery of services that meets the needs of referred children, youth and adults as well as their families
- Actively participates in Team Meetings, including consultation and planning settings with various stakeholders or other clientinvolved service providers
- 50% in head office, 50% observing all homes in Edmonton(40 hours per week)
- Connecting with families, clients, case managers and all other entities
- Weekly reports to be completed for each home, ensuring all team leads responsibilities are being completed and informing head office of any concerns
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Able to accept verbal and written instructions
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Reliable, dependable and personable
- Bachelor's degree in social work is a must
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience(ex: group home setting, supervisor positions)
- Travel is required to local and rural areas including, but not limited to : Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain

$23.00-$25.00 per hour
