CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted agency company who provides superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care facilities across BC.

We are looking for a housekeeper to join our amazing team in one of our beautiful long-term care facilities.

Previous experience in a long term care facility or with the senior community is _preferred_
but not required

Details: 2 days of 6:30am-1:30pm and 2 days of 8:30am-1:30pm and weekend hours may start either 7:00am or 9:00am.

Compensation:
$20.97 per hour

Our scheduler will work with you closely to match your availability with the hours we have in the facility

- whether you are looking for part-time or full time hours_

Responsibilities:

Cleans areas such as floors, stairways, walls, windows and walkways, carpets and rugs.
Cleans items such as furniture, woodwork, ledges, fixtures and blinds/ curtains.
Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and replenishes items such as soap and towels.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and washrooms.
Prepares cleaning solutions and utilizes cleaning supplies in accordance with established procedures.
Empties and cleans waste containers and removes garbage from building.
Helps remove furniture from rooms and puts in storage area.
Preforms other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Grade 1 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
WHMIS Certificate.

While the SSO is in place, you will be limited to working with only one employer and at only one (1) private long-term care hospital (facility), licensed long-term care facility, registered assisted living facility, stand-alone extended care hospital or provincial mental health facility. Unless regional clustering applies.

Regional clustering allows you to, within the same region and in agreement with the facility, hold a position as permanent with one (1) employer and hold a casual position with one (1) additional employer. You may hold only one (1) permanent position, one (1) additional casual position and must not work outside of your regional cluster. The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination.
