The Account Payable Specialist will be responsible for acquiring, coding, and processing invoices, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts, and preparing payments to vendors for Canadian entities.

• Obtain approvals and coding invoices and expense reports in multiple currencies
• Code and enter invoices and payments into Sage system
• Code and enter expense reimbursements into Sage system
• Prepare biweekly cheque runs, wire payments and ACH/EFT payments
• Maintain accounts payable filing system
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with period closing activities
• Assist with quarterly/annual audits

• 1+ years experience in similar role.
• Experience with Sage and SAP systems is an asset

• Postsecondary education in Accounting is an asset

• Accounts Payable experience working with multicurrency
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in Sage system
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
