    Job Overview:
    We are in search of dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioners who are deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking recovery. The ideal candidates should have strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication abilities, and a dedication to delivering holistic care addressing both physical and emotional well-being.


    Responsibilities:
    • Perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, to establish precise diagnoses.
    • Collaborate with doctors, therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans.
    • Prescribe and administer suitable medications and treatments, monitoring their efficacy and making adjustments when necessary.
    • Offer education and counseling to clients and their families on recovery, wellness, and health management.
    • Lead group therapy sessions, providing support and insights in a safe and therapeutic environment.
    • Maintain accurate and updated medical records, documenting all interactions, assessments, and interventions.
    • Cultivate a caring and nonjudgmental atmosphere that encourages trust and open communication.


    Qualifications:
    • Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in Manitoba.
    • Background in addiction medicine, mental health, or similar field is preferred.
    • Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for patient engagement and collaboration with peers.
    • Empathetic approach and awareness of the struggles individuals face during recovery.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setup.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and basic computer literacy.
    • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
