Thames Valley Family Health Team Board of Directors is a skill based, policy governance board committed to creating an organization that is a primary health care leader and enhances the wellbeing of the people of Thames Valley.
The Board is dedicated to building a culture focused on employee wellness, integration and collaboration, health equity, and leadership in primary care.
A desire to lead the way in primary health care delivery is necessary; experience on a Board of Directors in the public domain would be an asset, but not required.
- Board directors serve a three-year term, renewable for one additional term of 3 year
- There are nine Board meetings per year (monthly except for July, August, and December)
- Currently, meetings are scheduled on the last Thursday of the month from 6:008:00 pm
- Very occasionally, additional meetings are scheduled at the call of the chair, usually by videoconference.
- Each board member is also a member of one of the Board's three committees. These committees meet quarterly in the evening (generally from 6:007:30 pm).
