We are looking for experienced staff with the right attitude of always putting the guest experience first. Experience in a similar high-volume, high-end restaurant is required.

Ideally you should be a quick learner, very professional in attire and speech, adaptable, able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills, and make quick decisions and prioritize in a very fast paced environment.

All this while wearing a smile on your face You should thrive where there is a high demand for you to perform and genuinely enjoy teamwork.

Open availability is preferred and weekends are required.

Miku is an award-winning Japanese restaurant, located in Coal Harbour, downtown Vancouver. Miku has made it's own name in Vancouver
- known for it's innovative Japanese food and warm yet upbeat atmosphere. We are looking for enthusiastic, professional individuals to join our team. As a part of the front of house team, you will play an integral role in providing top-notch service and upholding Miku's standards of excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for service and commitment to quality
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience
Minimum 2 years of serving experience
Willingness to learn
Strong sense of team work and work ethic
Full time position
Open availability, working weekends a must
Fluent in English
Strong POS experience
Valid Serving it Right certificate required
Accreditation in wine or sake is considered an asset

All staff must go through Food Runner and Server training prior to moving into the Bartender role.

The food knowledge training as well as the training in the dining room as a Server is required to ensure you are qualified to serve guests at the bar.

Depending on your qualifications and work quality, the full training can take anywhere from 3-4 weeks.
