A bit about the role..._**As a Partner Manager with Solink you'll be responsible for the go-to-market growth and ongoing success of Solink's partnerships - you'll be creating an ecosystem and not just managing a 'set' of partnerships.

You'll become an expert in the field, cultivating and strategizing the industry's best solutions by maintaining, developing and enhancing the end-to-end lifecycle of Solink's partnerships.

Solink currently partners with recognizable brands and we're looking to grow and foster our partnerships to expand the industries and customers we serve.

Your job is to create a framework for working with partners that generates revenue, improves retention and grows Solink's market share.


WHO YOU ARE:


  • You preferably have 1+ years of experience working in B2B Software Sales with focus in Partnerships or Account Management.
  • You have interest in technology including both Software and Hardware.
  • Picking up the phone doesn't scare you and you seek to create relationships with others that can be fun while driving business benefits and customer success.
  • You have excellent time management skills and are responsive and organized.
  • Being proactive is more exciting than a reactive workload (job will require both).
  • You have experience qualifying partners or customers for a specific set of requirements.
  • You can manage and avoid escalated situations that might be stressful for others, but for you, presents as more of an opportunity to prove value.
  • You are strategic and creative to drive business or solve problems.
  • Have worked with contracts and legal documents such as NDAs, distribution/resell and/or referral agreements.
  • You enjoy working with Marketing and Product teams to align opportunities to drive business with our partners when integrations or comarketing is required.
  • You can effectively build great relationships by being a proactive, responsive, strategic resource.
  • You will conduct prequalifying research to ensure preparedness when speaking to potential partners, clients, and personnel.
  • You understand and can speak in technical terms and adjust your vocabulary to be able to speak to nontechnical partners as well.
  • You've worked in a Partnership role in the past and have seen success in using Partner programs.
  • You've successfully launched and managed partnerships in the past and have the revenue metrics to prove it, while working cross functionally within your organization.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:


  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink's own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales & Partnership Manager to manage an existing partner community.
  • Manage, track and control all partner contracts, renewals, terminations and partner revenue/payments based on the various types of contracts.
  • Assist with managing key strategic relationships while owning tier 2 and lower partnerships endtoend.
  • Drive an increase in the percentage of business that can be attributed to partners while increasing the overall revenue from partners at similar growth rates to sales targets.
  • Potential to work on joint customer business as a first stage of partner onboarding.
  • Help define, execute and manage enhancements to the current channels that drive Demos/Leads for the sales team.
  • Triage partnerships to ensure we're constantly culling from a large group to ensure we're maximizing our resources and create an efficient program that provides significant ROI.
  • Work with the various sales team members, Sales Operations and Customer Success to ensure their needs are being met or exceeded by the partner program.
  • Possibly build and manage a partner certification program which would work closely with other departments to ensure alignment to our internal needs, resources availability and priorities.
  • Build and maintain a partner resource center to ensure that our partners can have the same access to updates and information that our internal teams use everyday.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Enablement, Customer Success and Marketing to identify new partnerships.
  • Work closely with our data team and legal to ensure we can successfully manage technical partnerships/integrations and build partner revenue from these strategic alliances.
