Description

Main duties include:

  • Monthly financial reporting including calculation of Work In Progress/ Holdbacks receivable.
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management
  • Assist team in refining processes to work more efficiently/ Tech assistance for office
  • Weekly Payroll/ Subcontractor payments/ oversight of immigration procedures and some Human Resources duties
  • All bookkeeping and accounting duties including remittances, reconciliations etc.
  • Year End procedures to prepare the accounting for the external accountants, and reporting to various entities as required.
  • Oversight of safety program including Workers Compensation Board, Annual certification, job specific issues, training, incident management and policy creation, liaison with contract safety officer.
  • Aiding owner with various requests and challenges as they arise.
  • Assisting management team and site employees as needed.
  • Have experience in the Construction Industry and a minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
  • Have prior experience as an office manager
  • Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment and multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
Compensation package is competitive and dependent on experience.
