Position Description:

The Clinical Research Project Coordinator (CRPC) oversees clinical research studies in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include patient recruitment, data collection, study administration, preparing necessary documentation for Research Ethics Board approval, and managing data analysis. Additionally, the CRPC supports in compiling study results for various purposes.

Here's What You'll Get To Do:
  • Have a thorough understanding of study protocols and measures
  • Aid in designing case report forms and questionnaires
  • Support Principal Investigator in the scientific review process
  • Stay informed about regulations governing clinical research
  • Create consent documents in alignment with regulations and institutional templates
  • Develop study binders and maintain them for the research team's use
  • Foster relationships with healthcare teams and external partners
  • Participate in audits and monitoring activities
  • Conduct literature reviews to stay updated with relevant studies
  • Assist with database management and ensure data quality
  • Attend meetings to enhance knowledge and collaboration
  • Facilitate study timelines and patient enrollment
  • Maintain research documentation and patient records
  • Monitor adverse events and follow reporting procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments according to study protocols
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and clinical follow-ups
  • Organize materials to support protocol adherence
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy on medication management
  • Supervise research assistants and volunteers
  • Support training of new research staff
  • Handle budget records and procurement activities
Here's What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Certification as a clinical research associate is beneficial
  • 3-5 years of clinical research experience
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion
