Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Procurement Lead: Be the project lead for all tasks related to Procurement project strategy, Procurement tactics, Sourcetocontract, Contract management, Contract closing during the different phases of the project (Idea generation, Orderofmagnitude, Prefeasibility study, Feasibility study, Execution, Commissioning, contract closeout).
  • Innovative Department Formation: As an experienced leader, you will participate in the birth of an innovative department exclusively dedicated to strategic procurement for projects for industrial rehabilitation. You will be an active member of a project team of skilled professionals, defining transparent processes to enhance collaboration and efficiency with suppliers.
  • Revitalizing Leadership: Your invigorating leadership will be the cornerstone of transformation. You will foster a dynamic work environment, promoting inclusion, innovation, and excellence within your multicultural team. Your coaching skills surpass the average. You will collaborate with all levels, from technical experts to executives at Rio Tinto and suppliers.

Project Management: You have strong project management skills and experience in complex projects.

Solid Education with Extensive Experience: Armed with a master's degree in management, finance, engineering, or a related field, your career has been geared toward international endeavors. You possess substantial experience in contract management with leading engineering firms in mining and environmental engineering.


- High Agility:Your exceptional agility will allow you to navigate through a diverse range of projects, interacting with numerous stakeholders. You will be capable of providing strategic recommendations as well as in-depth analyses.

  • Leading outsourced services: as the manager of the contract of outsourced services, you will define and pilot the expected performance of the outsourced services.
  • Other skills
    :Very good knowledge of excel. Good knowledge of Ariba and Power bi is a plus.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
From $75.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montreal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
