Position Summary

The Installer / Refurb.

Technician is responsible to achieve and maintain operational excellence within the department, ensuring that the expectations of customers (both internal and external) are always exceeded.

The Installer / Refurb. Technician will maintain and assist in onboarding customers, installing equipment and preparing / refurbishing equipment for field deployment.

Employ concierge style customer service utilizing mechanical aptitude to install and onboard customers while commissioning warewashing, laundry and housekeeping equipment and dispensing systems.

Exceptional white glove service, demonstrating safe equipment use, company navigation and ensuring systems are fully understood and operational.


Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Installer / Refurb.

Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Leverage handson service to enhance our total value to the customer;
  • Safeguards refurbishing / installation operations by establishing and monitoring safe guards and lockouts, inclusive of healthy and safety protocols;
  • Utilize plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills to install equipment, dispensers, etc.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Installations ensure great first impression customer experience, is a true Chemsyn ambassador when onboarding customers.
  • Maintains general appearance of all working sites (internal and external), as well as signage and Safety Data Sheet Management
  • Inservice customers on proper use of supplies, company navigation and/or equipment;
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints;
  • Understand the customer's needs through effective written and verbal communication;
  • Supply management with oral and written reports when requested;
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution of parts and equipment in the specified warehouse;

Minimum Requirements

  • Post-Secondary degree in related field; or comparable industry experience;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
  • Strong problemsolving skills;
  • Accountable and dependable;
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work;
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic; and
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Strong problemsolving skills;
Working Conditions

  • Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours;
  • Required to work in a busy, open area which may result in constant interruptions;
  • Required to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
  • Will be required to work weekends.
  • Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.

Job Types:

Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
