Goldstein Financial Consultants is an independent Mutual Fund Dealership located in North York. It is a family owned business that has been in operations for over 50 years.


Position Summary:


The primary responsibility for this role is to ensure the seamless administration of the mutual fund SWP/RRIF/LIF module for all clients.

This role will also be responsible for identifying changes to improve the existing processes. The position reports to the Office/Operations Manager.

  • Maintaining the mutual fund RRIF/LIF/SWIP module on Viefund to ensure clients receive payments accurately and on time
  • Reviewing clients' accounts for all payments and responding to client inquiries
  • Preparing for weekly meetings with management to review accounts
  • Preparing processing forms and phoning clients to review all transactions
  • Followup with fund companies on all changes and file paperwork accordingly
  • Responsible for implementing any changes in the program in order to improve the existing process
  • Assisting with departmental projects and providing team support as needed
  • Weekly reception lunch phone coverage as per schedule
  • Post secondary education (diploma and/or degree) preferred
  • Successful completion of Mutual Fund Course (IFC) preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in an Administrative/Data entry role
  • Good knowledge of mutual funds (through industry experience or IFC)
  • Client service experience in the financial industry
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Great organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Highly adaptable, flexible professional who embraces teamwork, and can work independently

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

From $60,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • Administrative/data entry: 3 years (preferred)
- client service experience in the financial industry: 3 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Mutual Fund Course (IFC) (preferred)

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in North York, ON M2N 6L9
