Western Medical Canada Inc is expanding to meet the high demand of hospital / institutional construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the representative on current and future construction projects
Provide effective management of construction of the project(s); delivered on time and on budget according to the project plan and financial expectations
Supervise and coordinate subtrades, construction management partners and consultants
Create and manage project plans that align with scope, time, cost, quality and resources
Identify and mitigate risks to project(s), proactively manage and escalate as required
Be able to create and maintain project schedules, construction draws, review contracts and price projects where applicable
Assisting with tender development and proposal evaluation, including interpretation and negotiation and administers and manages contractors and consultants.
Maintaining records including approvals and permits, asbuilt drawings and quality control records and project performance reports.
Maintaining project budgets.
Communicating with other managers and coordinating operational and maintenance and construction priorities.

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree or diploma (others to be considered based on education and experience)
5+ years Project Management experience, ideally within healthcare / institutional construction
Experience in MS Office including Microsoft Project
Experience in AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
Strong organization, time management and analytical skills.
Ability to comprehend design drawings and specifications and related permits including the ability to interpret and solve problems.
Must reside in Southwestern Ontario and have the ability to commute / travel to various facilities across the country.
