    The City of Côte Saint-Luc is a dynamic municipality on the island of Montreal with a population of approximately The City prides itself on providing the highest level of services to its residents at a reasonable cost. We are currently looking to hire a Day Camp Counselorfor the Recreation and leisure Department. Role:The senior day camp instructor is responsible for planning, leading, and participating in children and young people aged 5 to 14. The counselor must follow the safety procedures to ensure children's well-being attending the Camp and all scheduled activities. He must attend the training camp and apply the principles taught there throughout the summer.

    SCHEDULE
    • Monday to Friday
    • 35 to 40 hours per week
    • June to August

    Key Responsibilities

    Plans, participates in and supervises day camp activities for a group of young people, applies the department's rules and presents a positive image to the public.
    • Reports to to the leader or Coordinator
    • Collaborated with the junior leader and encourage him/her to be an active participant.
    • He/she ensures the safety of the group and the activities that the group will do outside the scheduled activity periods.
    • They must develop safe and stimulating activities.
    • Must present a weekly activity plan
    • Ensure the hygiene of the little ones
    • Ensure that everyone has a chance to get involved
    • Meet with and inform parents on a regular basis
    • Attend the pre-season training session
