Job description:


The dealer act as a trader of Treasury Department collaborate with the Treasury colleagues in all treasury functions including bonds investment and money market borrowing and placements business.


Employment Status:
Permanent/ Contract


Location:
Toronto


Responsibilities:


  • Execute MM and bond Investments.
  • Cooperate with Operations Department to make sure the deal settled smoothly.
  • Provide CAD, RMB and USD funds rates to counterparties thru Reuters dealing or Bloomberg IB.
  • Prepare all monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually reports for management
- s review.

  • Prepare and summarize all transaction statistics for various types of reports.
  • Regularly revise the internal manuals and policies.
  • Analyze and formulate system, policy and operating manual for securities business
  • Review errors and clarify the correct trade details by contacting the trader(s) of counterparties.
  • Educate and support sales staff.

Qualifications:


  • Good skills of trading systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with an attentiontodetail.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • English and Chinese language skills with work proficiency.
  • Designated as Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) Is an asset.
  • Designated as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) is an asset.
  • Master's degree in Finance.
