Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join their team.

Skills & Experience:

1. Design of utility systems, including potable water distribution, storm and waste water collection, waste water treatment, and fire protection services for institutional and industrial facilities.
2. Knowledge of the analysis and planning of traffic operations, intersection design, and highway engineering design is considered an asset.
3. Candidates must understand preparation of specifications and co-ordination of civil engineering documents, with hands-on knowledge and use of leading civil engineering applications software.
4. Experience in computer-aided design applications in a Windows-based environment including AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong writing and oral communication skills.
6. Candidates must hold a B. Sc. Eng., or equivalent and must be able to be registered as an engineer with A.P.E.P.E.I.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with our senior team members and the project teams to develop projects throughout all phases, from design to execution.
2. Support project consultant teams to ensure tight coordination of drawings.
3. Support various design components or project activities, spanning from early concept to completion.
4. Support the production of drawings and documentation, through the full design process or during a particular stage, ensuring completion in a timely and orderly manner and quality.
5. Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
6. Support the development of accurate and complete specifications.
7. Support in the Construction Administration of projects, including site visits and related office documentation.
