Financial Analyst, Cash ManagementOVERVIEW
- Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for reviewing daily bank transactions, processing wire payments, electronic funds payments and stop payments, preparation and input of financial data and account reconciliations, and working with Payment Processing on incoming deposits.
OUTCOMES
- To protect the Assets as they monitor the cash flow into and out of the company with a collaborative effort between the Accounts Receivable team.
- Preparing multiple bank account reconciliations in a timely manner
- Investigating and resolving issues related to financial data, unusual transactions, outstanding items
- Reconcile stale dated and canceled cheques and follow up on irreconcilable amounts
- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries on a timely basis
- Prepare and Deposit cheques into the bank
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure reconciling items are dealt with timely
- Collaborate with the Regional Administrators and Business Managers to obtain information on deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Trace missing payments and obtain necessary documentation to support payment. Adjust or update payment information accordingly and conduct essential followup with Payment Processing.
- Prepare daily bank wires, stop payments, and daily bank deposits with appropriate authorization, and accurately enter the information into EnterpriseOne.
- Accurately process tax payments meeting appropriate deadlines.
- Manage and file bank statements and daily deposit reports.
- Prepare daily reports and cash forecasting for the Leadership team
- Assist with the annual yearend process and other projects as assigned.
- Assist with Quarterly financial notes packages and tie outs
- Assist with Quarterly and Annual audits and provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional Accounting designation or close to completion
- Minimum of 23 years of related experience

- Superior analytical, reporting, and problemsolving skills with the ability to provide accurate business insights
