    IntroductionWe are currently looking for a Senior Advisor to join our client's capital procurement team within the Potash business unit.

    Senior Advisor will primarily focus on providing strategic guidance and leadership in the procurement of capital assets and services to support the Potash business unit's operational needs and growth objectives.


    Responsibilitiesthe lead in developing procurement strategies, ensuring stakeholder buy-in while adhering to company policies and procedures.problem-solving and analytical skills to devise and implement sourcing and stakeholder engagement strategies that align with capital program demands, work scope requirements, and industry dynamics.procurement best practices, ensuring compliance with client policies and procedures throughout sourcing activities.project-specific contracting and procurement strategies, including contract execution plans, to support Project Management stage gate review users' sourcing needs by providing input into capital project planning, participating in RFx processes, and assisting in negotiation preparation and execution.initiatives to align procurement activities with strategic goals, collaborating with Category Management, Procurement team members, and business contract-related requests, including contractor onboarding, change management activities, and claims management.

    Contract Executive Summaries and lead supplier relationship reviews with key suppliers, advocating for client Diversity and Inclusion efforts.leadership, coaching, and mentoring to procurement team members across all Procurement site locations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.


    Requirements8 years of progressive procurement experience in an industrial managing the RFP process, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.drafting contract exhibits with attention to detail and procurement software (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office).communication skills, both verbal and procurement regulations, industry standards, and compliance travel to the Lanigan site and flexibility in working hours.
