Reason for the role


As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will play an important role in shaping our brand, crafting compelling narratives, and bringing it to life in a differentiated manner.

As a strong campaign strategist, you will be directing the creativity and implementation of campaign toolkits that will be used to support regional marketing teams.

You will be inspired in your ever-evolving tasks to come up with creative solutions, channel best practices, budget guidance, and consistent measurement approaches.


Tasks and responsibilities:


  • Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative
  • Define the brand's positioning and vision, from visual identity to messaging pillars, to ensure that the brand's voice is consistent across all channels.
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns that can be scaled globally, connect with customers, and drive engagement and brand preference.
  • Develop global campaign toolkits that can be implemented by field marketing teams
  • Work with other marketing team members to create and develop a cohesive marketing strategy consistent with a brand voice, and help develop and execute specific marketing tactics that support that strategy.
  • Carrying out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends, staying on top of insights into our key buyer personas
  • Setting up a consistent way of analyzing the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
  • Develop and manage evergreen content strategies to implement across owned and earned plans
  • Collaborate with global PR agencies to grow our share of voice and provide thoughtful guidance.
  • Maintaining relationships with agencies and other vendors to ensure the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.

Job Requirements:


  • You're comfortable building from the ground up without perfect data and proven best practices
  • You can work without supervision, you have experience writing briefs, working across the team and working with agencies
  • You're a natural storyteller and you can craft inspiring narratives bringing together industry trends, customer insight, and product roadmaps
  • You have a natural creative eye and can seamlessly evaluate work against a brief
  • You're a critical thinker with an ability to form and sell through a perspective using data, instinct, and industry inspiration
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate choicemakers and teams
  • You're flexible in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity in a growing scaleup
  • You love to work crossfunctionally to bring together diverse perspectives to ensure we're doing what's best for our customers and partners
  • Based in either Toronto (Canada) or London (United Kingdom), with the right to live and work in the respective countries.
  • Ability to work hybrid 3 days a week in our office and 2 days hybrid from home.

Nice to have:

  • Any experience in the hospitality or restaurant industries is a big plus
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and SaaS products
  • Experience with PR and managing media relations
