Job Description:

The role of an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist involves carrying out inspections, repairs or overhauls on aircraft components in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This includes performing arrival inspections, disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing and reassembling parts.
This position requires a strong understanding of the airworthiness standards set by manufacturers as well as those established by regulatory bodies such as Transport Canada. Additionally, it is essential to stay up-to-date with personal qualifications through continuous training and professional development opportunities.
In this capacity you will be responsible for adhering to company-established procedures and policies while maintaining open communication channels across different bases within the country due to bilingual requirements (English/French).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Aircraft Mechanical Assembly or equivalent; OR relevant experience working on helicopter components or turboshaft engines.
• Bilingualism - English and French speaking/writing skills are necessary for effective communication between Canadian regions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software tools;
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
