As a Regional Marketing & Communications Specialist your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, lead and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to firm objectives and marketing plans with mínimal guidance. This includes ideation, planning, development of a workback schedule, communication with and buy-in from key stakeholders, tactical execution, internal and external communications, tracking and reporting on KPIs
  • Play a lead role in supporting the Alberta North and Alberta South business units along with support for other west business units as needed
  • Lead other special projects in western Canada as needed
  • Actively participate in and lead marketing working groups, to support and deliver on national and regional campaigns
  • Demonstrate leadership and build trust and rapport within the greater marketing team. Provide feedback to others in a positive and constructive manner, and provide guidance and mentorship to the regional marketing assistant
  • Be a leader in the use of the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other marketing enablement technology to manage campaigns and track ROI
  • Act as a champion for social media usage, bringing forward best practices and new approaches, and sharing relevant content with the western business units and west marketing team.
  • Plan and execute marketing events including booking logistics, invitations, registration management, stakeholder preparation, onsite coordination (when appropriate) and postevent followup
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns including local advertising, awareness campaigns and lead generation campaigns
  • Act as a brand ambassador. Collaborate with national marketing & communications team, Regional Senior Marketing Manager and Regional Marketing Managers to ensure brand integrity and consistency across all external and internal marketing activities including advertising, presentations, sponsorship, social media, communications, and event materials
  • Remain knowledgeable of firm marketing strategy, programs and campaigns to leverage in your projects and campaigns
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the firm's services and markets by proactively bringing forward ideas
  • Occasional travel may be required

  • University / college degree or diploma in Marketing Communications or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in marketing communications, in a B2B environment, preferably within accounting or professional services
  • You are highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks under deadline to deliver a quality product
  • You are a creative and critical thinker who is passionate about marketing and growing the business
  • You consistently and proactively bring forward fresh, new ideas and strategic marketing opportunities
