- Preparation and timely submission of Magnitude Reporting (according to IFRS and Group standards)
- Preparation and coordination of the monthly internal financial reporting package for Management review
- Support in annual MYB construction process
- Performs Balance Sheet account reconciliations (must provide analytical insight that supports conclusions)
- Perform fixed asset transactions (additions, disposals, adjustments, depreciation) and month-end reconciliations
- Intercompany Accounting –Processing AR & AP Invoices, making payment on client's tool (netting system) are approved and entered by the prescribed timelines
- Preparation of BW report Monthly Cost Allocations
- Perform a detailed analysis of the Excess and obsolete inventory and assist in annual physical inventory count
- Assist in month end closing activities of inventory and support other stakeholders in the inventory related concerns
- Preparation of monthly Income Statement comparison of Actuals to Budgets (variance analysis)
- Preparation of monthly variance analysis of Balance Sheet to budget and forecast (must provide relevant financial information to decision makers)
- Actively supports the daily, weekly, and monthly internal reporting requirements for treasury, regular cash reporting
- Liaises with Corporate Central Finance Departments and related financial institutions
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis at the request of management
- Ensures timely resolution of issues
- Timesheet administration duties in SAP to ensure approved hours are processed monthly
- Prepare Sales tax returns (HST, QST, VAT & PST)
- Must have University degree with a specialization in accounting.
- At least 5 years' experience in the Accounting computerized environment.
- Enrolment in an Accounting designation program would be ideal.
- Experience with large accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of excel, including advanced functions
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Very Good team working skills
- Experience liaising with external auditors
- Organize workload to meet deadlines and work with little supervision
- Must be able to work under pressure of deadlines
