Tasks:


  • Conduct medical research
  • Assess patients' diseases or disorders to determine appropriate surgical procedures
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, Xrays and other diagnostic procedures
  • Prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for surgery
