The QC Supervisor is responsible for working together with contractors to ensure Valley Fiber specifications are maintained, various reporting to management on contractor progress, deficiencies, restorations, and working with homeowners to resolve any issues.
The preferred work location for this role is Winkler, though there is flexibility to accommodate this role being based out of the Lockport or Steinbach offices.

What You'll Do:
- Working together with contractors to ensure Valley Fiber specifications are maintained
- Working collectively with the Valley Fiber Project Managers group, assisting with alignment changes, Invoice verification (in field), reporting on inspections
- Regular onsite visits
- Reporting to management on contractor progress
- Approving Payroll for the QC Dept
- Conducting performance reviews for the QC Dept
- Documenting and reporting on Infrastructure damages
- Reviewing and performing Site Doc Inspection forms
- Reviewing of Conduit issues
- Developing and improving Inspection forms as needed
- Working with homeowners to resolve any issues
Who You Are:
- Underground construction experience is required, Min 2 years.
- Knowledge in Directional Drilling and Plowing is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Valid Class 5 driver's license is required
- High level of professionalism when interacting with contractors and homeowners
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to be a selfstarter and work independently
- High level of organization
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work away from home as required
- Ability to be on call and work overtime as required
- Ability to physically lift 50 lbs as required
