Roles and responsibilities:


  • Operations management: Work closely with the operations team to make sure transactions and investment activities are carried out smoothly.
  • Commercial agreement negotiation: Review all types of commercial agreements to make sure they protect TCC's interests and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Legal advice: Initiate legal research to provide legal advice and direction to TCC's teams concerning various fields of law (compliance, commercial, investment, etc.).
  • Training: Stay informed of new laws, regulations and market trends that might affect TCC's investment activities and share that information with team members.
  • Collaboration with other departments: Work closely with internal teams, such as the investment, compliance and operations teams to guarantee a holistic approach to investment activity management.

Qualifications

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in law;
  • Quebec bar membership;
  • Up to four years of relevant experience.
  • Skills and knowledge
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft 365 suite;
  • General interest in simple and complex financial products;
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written), essential.
