We are looking for an Overhead Door Service Technician Apprentice with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team.

High level of workmanship and attention to detail
Confident using hand and power tools
The ability to troubleshoot mechanical & some electrical issues
Effectively manage time and resources to complete the required jobs
Able to work unsupervised & in a team environment
Must have a valid class 5 drivers license
Physically fit & able to lift in excess of 60 lbs
Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements
Comfortable working at heights (ladders of a variety of heights and lifts are sometimes utilized)
Able to work in a physical environment during ALL seasons
Good communication and problemsolving skills.
Positive attitude with motivation and the willingness to learn.
Mechanically and technically inclined
Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Complete the required forms and documentation as required
Write work orders and submit requests for parts ordering
Complete ongoing training as required
Start with the company in an assistant role on site, with the expectation to be trained in the specifics of serving and installing, and ability to work up to running your own truck.
Ability to always represent Overhead Door of Winnipeg in a positive manner, maintaining a professional tone and approach to both verbal and written communications
