Enersul is currently seeking a
Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Calgary on a Contract basis (12 months).

This role will have responsibility for Payroll Administration as well as a variety of Human Resources tasks. This is a diverse position, with the opportunity to contribute to many activities and projects.


Overall Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with local jurisdictions.
  • Works closely with HR Director on coordination of internal processes and programs related to Talent Management and Employee Development.
  • HRIS Administration (Workday).
  • Effectively processes payroll ensuring accuracy and completion.
  • Follows procedures and completes audits and checks of data and activities.
  • Takes ownership of coordinating the new hire onboarding process.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Works closely with colleagues on a variety of projects and priorities.
  • Contributes to Marmon wide HR initiatives in partnership with HR Director.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:


  • Post Secondary education in human resources or related.
  • Payroll experience, preferable with ADP Workforce Now.
  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll capacity desired.
  • General understanding of Canadian Employment Law fundamentals required.
  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
  • Trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexible with a continuous learning mindset.
