Distribution Supervisor is located primarily at Burnaby plant, reports to Distribution Manager - West, and coordinates dairy product (Fresh and frozen) distribution operations for customers (DSD) and between plants in Western Canada.

They will work closely with the production, warehouse, sales, and transport teams.

The position is based on regular 40 hours week with start time at 7:30am but on phone availability may be needed occasionally depending on operations.

More specifically Distribution supervisor:

Manages their sector's daytoday operations: special deliveries, customer issues, monitoring equipment repairs, optimize equipment operation, shipping schedules, union employees schedules etc.;
Ensures compliance of the team with Health & Safety rules, coordinates necessary training, conducts investigations, and participates in Health & Safety initiatives;
Measures performance and makes any adjustments required to improve the network's efficiency;
Participates in various meetings in order to ensure good communication flow between departments;
Participates in various projects and other initiatives based on departmental needs.
