MHICA has two stateoftheart facilities combined to 476,000 sq. ft. This comprises of Manufacturing & Assembly, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, where more than 800 highlyskilled employees are working on Bombardier's sectorleading Global 5000/6000 and Challenger 350 business aircraft. MHICA's technicians build and join wing assemblies and fuselage sections, as well as perform systems and flight control assembly installations and testing.
    Scope of Position
  • Reporting to the Supervisor
  • Logistics, the Waterspider will ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Ability to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets the production requirements.

Other duties include:

  • Replenish material and consumables to designated work stations
  • Retrieve, organize and return carts, totes and bins as required
  • Manage shortages to closure for assigned work stations
  • Maintain shortage communication and KPI boards
  • Assist material handlers when required
  • Ensure aisles are free of obstacles and debris
  • Lifting up to 40lbs
  • Standing/walking for full shift hours as required
  • Bending required to different shelf levels to lift a variety of aircraft and other parts as required
  • Pushing/pulling of a variety of items including packed carts of aircraft parts and others as required
  • Bending/twisting as required
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Maintain professionalism
  • Ability to accomplish duties required effectively and efficiently
  • Keep the department Manager/Supervisor informed of daily operations
  • Ability to deal with added day to day issues and concerns

Experience

  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors
  • Possesses basic computer skills and has knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Is selfmotivated and has a collaborative approach to working within a team
  • Can work under pressure and fast paced environment

Education

  • Minimum education of High School Diploma or equivalent
