DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:

***: The Manager, Marketing Operations provides support to multiple areas across the IG Marketing organization. Working with internal resources and selected external vendors, the individual leads marketing initiatives and improvement efforts, and executes operational processes. Strong coordination and problem
- solving skills are required, complemented by a detailed understanding of end to end marketing processes. The individual must possess attention to detail in addition to being innovative, creative and results oriented.


DUTIES INCLUDE:


  • Responsible for performing regularly scheduled operational duties (ie. Invoice processing, vendor relationship management, basestock management), test upcoming vendor changes, coordinate SSL certificate renewals.
  • Provide level 2 marketing support and advanced troubleshooting (with IT or vendor) for the core marketing platforms.
  • Providing support to multiple areas across the organization and marketing Division. Working with business owners and stakeholders on the execution of strategic marketing or corporate objectives and understanding product / service features as they fit into the financial planning process and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Identify operational process gaps and implement structure/processes to address
  • Identify, prioritize, champion, and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Ensure vendor partners understand our requirements/expectations and hold them accountable for delivery
  • Document operational processes and cross train colleagues to eliminate key person dependencies
  • Develop and administer the IGM Marketing Sharepoint site

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Post-Secondary Education and;
  • Experience in the financial services industry, including exposure to the Consultant sales process considered an asset
  • Understanding of marketing and marketing processesStrong planning, organizing, and priority setting skills, ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Consensus builder who can work across departments and organizations
  • Demonstrated vendor management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels of management
  • Exposure to a projectbased environment, coupled with the ability to work independently
  • SharePoint development and administration
  • Frenchlanguage skills an asset, but not required
