Reporting to the Service Manager of the Earth Moving Division, the newest Field Service Supervisor will be agile, level headed and performance driven.
You will serve as a main point of contact to both customers and technicians ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and performance to deliver on Liebherr's exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong support and communication for designated Field Service Technicians to foster employee engagement, teamwork & top performance
- Oversee the daily scheduling and planning of Field Service Technicians to ensure that the workforce is adequately assigned to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Serve as front line customer contact for Field Service requests, followup and service issues
- Prepare service/repair quotes for customers as needed
- Build customer relationships and resolve customer issues directly or escalate to Service Manager as required (visit customer sites as required)
- Open work orders (including monthly No Charges) as required
- Accurately review, approve and enter as required service reports, time sheets, work orders and parts requisitions
- Monitor, review and maximize efforts to ensure appropriate levels of WIP on a daily basis and maintain timely closing/invoicing of all field jobs
- Champion and maintain all safety rules and procedures
- Liaise with Parts regarding parts ordering and availability to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- Must have experience within the Heavy Equipment or related industry, Heavy Equipment License is preferred
- 3+ years Supervisory or Management experience is required
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching & leadership skills are required
- High level of professionalism and ability to interact calmly while under pressure
- Agile and adaptable to the changing demands of the industry
- Customer and employee centric
- Computer Proficient
- Word, Excel (MS Office Suite)
- Valid driver's license is required, willingness to travel locally. National or International travel may be required on occasion.
