Overview:

As a Concrete Batch Plant Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concrete batch plant, ensuring that production meets quality and quantity requirements.

You will be responsible for managing the plant personnel, scheduling production, and ensuring that all safety standards are met.

This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the concrete batch plant.
  • Schedule production and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all safety standards and regulations are met.
  • Oversee plant personnel and ensure that all staff are properly trained.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that production requirements are met.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on plant performance and progress.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
  • Manage budget and expenses related to plant operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of concrete production and batching processes.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
