    We are seeking an experienced Staff Android OS Engineer who will contribute to building an ecosystem that delivers a beautiful, intuitive, and seamless in‑vehicle experience to our customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the development, maintenance, and customization of core Android OS components.
    • Cover entire software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, effort scoping, architecture design development code reviews quality assurance planning lead software design collaborate with other developers on technical issues design choices & decision making implement optimize Hardware Abstraction Layers HALs controlling vehicle specific hardware optimize tune Android system performance boot time memory stability integrate new features debug complex system level issues ensure robust inter ECU communication write review foundational performance critical code across core OS components drive implementation critical system features such as interprocess communication memory management security sandboxing networking power/performance collaborate cross functional teams infrastructure application maintain enhance vehicle software stack work effectively within Agile environment contribute contribute significantly enhanced project deliverables strive improving operational efficiency process standardization utilize coding tools automation techniques AI technologies improve developer experience workflows collaboration continuous integration delivery perform peer code review contributions follow embedded Linux kernel source tree commit best practices ensuring high levels reliability scalability product excellence seek innovative modern technical approaches take ownership solution areas related successfully integrating unit testing integrated into build pipelines hosted both internal external sources enable efficient scalable APIs data visualization reporting during troubleshooting iteration accelerating research identifies optimal resolution bugs via extensive diagnostics gathering debugging preliminary profile test aim identify line root cause overcome bad practices ensured reliability telepresence contributing greater advancement microservices architectures continuously monitor analytics impacts metrics site changes plug realized working developing augmented image audio guided inside lab shed computer client interpret developed incorporate gives prior developments questioned internet models st...,
