Accounting Technician Required

Metrix Group LLP has been a full service chartered professional accounting firm for
over 60 years with offices in Edmonton, Lloydminster, Whitecourt and Evansburg.

We work closely with all of our clients, offering our accounting and tax expertise and guidance in managing their organization.

We are looking for the next member of our team; an
Accounting Technician in our Edmonton office who can deliver our values and commitment to serve our clients.

The accounting technician will represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties.

You will work closely with our group of professionals and will continue to develop your skills by working on a wide variety of client assignments including the preparation of working papers, financial statements, corporate/personal tax and other special projects.

Primary duties:

• Prepare working paper files, financial statements and corporate tax returns
• Calculate and prepare GST returns
• Prepare personal tax returns
• Communication with our clients, government agencies and our professionals/staff

Preference will be given to prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, Taxprep,
- task and meet deadlines under pressure.
