    We are seeking 2 enthusiastic and creative Co-Directors to lead and manage our summer ministries for children. Our Co-Directors will work with the Pastors on staff at Spring Garden Church and be responsible for overseeing our summer ministries including our day camp, program development, summer staff management, camper safety, and overall operations.

    The ideal candidate will be part of a team and have a focus to create a positive and engaging summer camp experience for children and provide a healthy work environment for our camp staff. You should have a passion for working with children, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Must be between 18-30 years old with a high school diploma or
    • Canadian resident (international students cannot be hired)
    • Willingness to abide by spring garden church values and code of conduct
    • Willingness to work Sunday mornings
    • Have experience working with children in camps or places of equal caliber
    • Can express personal creativity (not exclusive to art)
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team to achieve shared goals.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement summer camp programs and activities that promote personal growth and learning for
    • Train and supervise camp staff, ensuring that they are well-prepared to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for
    • Manage all aspects of camp operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and facilities maintenance.
    • Ensure that all camp activities are conducted in accordance with our safety policies.
    • Build positive relationships with campers, staff, parents, and community partners to ensure a successful camp experience.

    Preferred Skills

    CPR/first aid certification and other relevant training is a plus.
