- Equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care, Health Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum three years of recent related experience and volunteer experience
- Valid BC Driver's License
- Demonstrated administration and supervisory skills
- Demonstrated Human Resource Coordination skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment, plan, and organize
- Experience working with youth ages 15-25
- Experience coordinating and leading youth activities
- Experience in supporting volunteers or volunteer teams is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to provide guidance and direction
- Solid understanding of the Volunteer Management Cycle
- Ability to work as a team member
- Interact with a variety of people and personalities
- Provide motivation and encouragement to volunteers
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Productively use a computer and technology
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
