    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education, Training And Experience

    • Equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care, Health Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, or related field
    • Minimum three years of recent related experience and volunteer experience
    • Valid BC Driver's License

    Skills And Abilities

    • Demonstrated administration and supervisory skills
    • Demonstrated Human Resource Coordination skills
    • Ability to exercise good judgment, plan, and organize
    • Experience working with youth ages 15-25
    • Experience coordinating and leading youth activities
    • Experience in supporting volunteers or volunteer teams is an asset
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to provide guidance and direction
    • Solid understanding of the Volunteer Management Cycle
    • Ability to work as a team member
    • Interact with a variety of people and personalities
    • Provide motivation and encouragement to volunteers
    • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
    • Productively use a computer and technology
    • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
