Recruiter
Pacific Western Transportation requires a full-time Recruiter for its Edmonton-based Centre for Innovation and Excellence.
The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to promote our Safely Home vision.
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources (or working towards)
- One to two years of previous highvolume recruitment experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
- Previous experience with Taleo, JD Edwards or UKG considered an asset
- Adept at the use of social media (LinkedIn, Facebook) for the purposes of recruiting
- Above average verbal and written communication skills (with a professional telephone manner)
- Excellent time management and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Screen and interview applicants on very tight deadlines
- Liaise with Operations and HR teams to ensure up to date knowledge of staffing needs
- Data Entry into various formats
- Post and maintain job advertisements
- Creation of various written documents including job advertisements, job descriptions, reports for management and meeting minutes
