PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

CPKC is seeking certified Journeyman Plumber, to perform a wide variety of journeyman duties.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain of switch heaters;
Gas fittings;
Propane handling;
Rough plumbing;
HVAC replacement/repair;
Maintenance of storm drainage systems;
Maintenance of high pressure steam and air lines.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a Journeyman Plumber or equivalent experience;
Must possess a gas license and be qualified to maintain switchheaters and work on high pressure systems;
Must possess a Provincial certification for working on 500,000 BTU systems. (eg. Gas 1 Installers License);
Must be comfortable working on structures at heights with proper fall protection equipment;
Must be proficient with the safe use of common hand and power tools;
Obtain and hold a CROR rules card, minimum level "D";
Hold a valid driver's license;
Be proficient in the installation and maintenance of sanitary, potable and pressurized water systems;
Be proficient in the maintenance of oilwater separators;
Have thorough knowledge of all relevant industry codes.
