Full Job Description
The Operations Manager will coordinate and manage the business's day-to-day functions, including labour, productivity, quality control, and safety measures. They will ensure safe and efficient operations. Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and business processes, while communicating efficiently. Serve as a company representative to clients, suppliers, and the public.
Look for opportunities to expand sales and help maintain the organization's strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, schedule and supervise staff.
- Manage Inventory.
- Receive calls and help staff outside regular business hours or when needed.
- Improve and implement efficiencies in operational management systems, processes, and best practices in the industry.
- Work closely with the management team to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
- Liaison with Police agencies, Fire departments, Municipalities, and other key clients.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced regularly and develop opportunities to lower critical equipment's total life cycle costs.
- Assess financial and volume reports implementing strategies to increase profitability.
- Successfully deliver services while balancing a costeffective approach in operations.
- Communicate customer issues with the management team and devise ways to improve customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
- Requires a working ability to manage several priorities simultaneously, including delegating assignments and followup with staff.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Familiarity or experience with business and financial management.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating good interpersonal, diplomacy, and judgement.
- Leadership ability and soft skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft software, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience in the Food industry would be considered an asset.
Compensation
- From $69,000.00, depending on experience and education.
- Bonus pay.
- Yearly performance bonus.

What's the offer?
The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, based on a standard 8-hour work day. The compensation offered will be based on your skills and previous work experience. We also provide a generously extended heath plan and three weeks of paid vacation.
