Summer School Casual Office Assistant -Continuing Education

Continuing Education Summer School (Literacy & Numeracy programs)

Session dates and program locations:

Elementary program at
Steve MacLean Public School: July 4 to July 27, 2023

Rate of Pay:
$21.00 per hour + 4 % in lieu of vacation

Start Date:
Staff Orientation (1 to 2 hours) will be required before July 4 (date to be determined)

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 4:00pm (School hours are from 8:30am to 3:35pm daily)

Continuing Education is seeking to hire 1 casual Office Assistant.

Anyone offered and accepting work within the program is afforded with protection through district policies and procedures pertaining to all aspects of their work, including Health & Safety.

1 to 2 years of School Office experience, including proficiency in Aspen is required. Experience working in a busy office environment.

Organizational and time-management skills required for juggling multiple priorities and tasks; excellent Interpersonal and communication skills to provide, exchange and clarify information, & respond to inquiries using tact, diplomacy and discretion. Please Note:

The position is union exempt, casual assignments.
