This position is with Hexagon's Mining division, a global technology leader, solution provider for surface and underground mine challenges, with proven technologies for planning, operations and safety.


Purpose of Position:


The Account Manager USCA role will be responsible for developing and implementing an account management plan to deliver against contract renewal, account growth and account health objectives within Minnovare' s production & development drilling technology businesses in the USCA region.


Major Areas of Responsibility:


  • Develop and implement account management strategy to maximise contract renewals and account growth
  • Create and identify opportunities for account growth
  • Be the primary point of contact for all clients
  • Develop and maintain account maps/plans for all current clients
  • Monitor and report on the health of each account, identify opportunities and threats
  • Establish and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders within each account
  • Implement and lead quarterly contract review meetings with clients
  • Demonstrate/reinforce the value Minnovare technology delivers for each client during the life of the contract
  • Establish/lead internal account strategy and planning meetings
  • Work closely with Global Manager, Business Development to close contract renewals and account growth opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with all Minnovare business units
  • Engage other business units as required to ensure account health/renewal/growth objectives are met

Knowledge & Experience Required:


  • Signiant experience in account management roles within the mining sector, your clients should be Mining Companies or Mining Contractors (ideally underground)
  • Experience developing and implementing account management plans and associated reporting
  • Ability to demonstrate account growth and retention as a result of your direct efforts must be able to provide specific examples
  • Must be able to demonstrate a history of successfully building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and translating those relationships into account retention and growth
  • Relevant network in the underground hard rock mining industry
  • Strong understanding of mine operations/process (ideally underground)
  • Technical/operational mining experience
  • Engineering or a relevant technical degree preferred
