    JOB OVERVIEW

    Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our Chemistry team in the role of Technical Engineer/Officer located in Pickering, Ontario.

    The Technical Engineer/Officer will have the opportunity to contribute to Ontario Power Generation by monitoring and analyzing plant information and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends; providing troubleshooting solutions; and advocating for opportunities to improve system performance .

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Support systems specifically setting chemistry control.
    • Responsible for systems performance by monitoring and analyzing plant information, identifying trends; providing troubleshooting solutions to the station; and advocating for opportunities to improve system health.
    • Preparing system health reports and action plans to sustain and improve system performance, identifying system risk; and supporting improvement modifications.
    • Working with a multi-disciplined team of engineering and technical specialists to support the operation of various mechanical and electrical systems.
