    Quik's Farm Ltd.

    is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space.

    Quik's Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

    We are currently hiring for a full-time Maintenance Team Member. This position offers you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fun-loving, and growing team

    *Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work collaboratively with Operations to ensure information and projects relating to maintenance and repairs are conducted in a timely manner to ensure production demands are met on time.
    • Follow through of scheduled maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, vehicles, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    • Respond to maintenance requests from various departments.
    • Working collectively as a maintenance team.
    • Maintain an efficient and clean workshop.
    • Weekly greasing and oil checks on cart pullers, forklift, and pallet jacks etc.
    • Data entry of all maintenance items completed in software program.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
    *Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of electrical diagrams.
    • Experience in building maintenance, electrical, irrigation and general repair.
    • Effective communication skills and forward spirit.
    • High school diploma or suitable equivalent educational experience.
    • A minimum 3 years in a maintenance capacity or relevant experience
    • Physical stamina and the ability to work physically for extended periods of time.
    • Should not have any attendance issues or any disciplinary action within the last year.
    • Operate equipment that is used in installation, repair and maintenance of boiler and heating equipment.

    This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
