Analyst, HR Technology and Data Management

  • Reporting to the
  • Key accountabilities include providing recommendations on multiple systems and clients to proactively resolve issues with process and HR technology interaction and provide endusers support, testing system changes, analyze data, and make recommendations for process improvement. As a member of a fastpaced HR Shared Services team, the Analyst, HR Technology and Data Management is accountable for providing high quality, accurate and professional support services to the organization.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Participate in studies to assist the Senior Specialist and users to define and document functional and data requirements, test plans and operational constraints related to potential HR Systems solutions for complex problems. Assist in the preparation of recommendations and business case documentation. Participate in the review of recommendations with other departments.
  • Participate in the preparation of recommendations for product upgrades. Support the installation and commissioning of products and provision of related services. Communicate with vendors regarding problems encountered in the use of products, or desired enhancements to products.
  • Prepare projects reports, work schedules, and proposals. Plan and participate in review meetings, involving technical staff, stakeholders, and third (3rd) party providers (such as SAP SuccessFactors). Prepare and review specifications, proposals, investigative reports, business case documents, configuration/ maintenance/user documentation and operating instructions.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of UAT scripts and review test results for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with user requirements. Prepare and maintain test data. Analyze and report on test results and observations. Work with stakeholders to arrange for commissioning and implementation in a production environment and conduct post implementation reviews with users.
  • Assist with Rolebased permissions support and administration. Execute audit and security procedures to ensure integrity and recoverability of data.
  • Assist in the Identification of the training needs and prepare training end user instructions in the form of written documentation (manuals, videos and online user aids). Provide individualized instruction as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve emergency problems under time constraints.
  • Prepare and/or participate in disaster recovery (DR) plans and procedures for designated products, systems and databases, as assigned. Assist in developing processes to maintain currency of systems and products, which must operate at the DR site. Prepare scenarios and test plans to validate the systems and processes.
  • Analyze audit/defect reports, to ensure data integrity and identity system/process problems. Design/implement corrective actions. Run various HR reports and undertake analysis of key management information to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Participate in the development, improvement, and implementation of internal administrative procedures and training, and ensure procedural documents remain updated.
  • Maintain an awareness of uptodate HR technology and program best practices, and act as a technical and functional resource within the unit.
  • Within the general context of the job responsibilities, make suggestions to Supervisor on how to improve the division's effectiveness and efficiency.
