Summary
As Contract Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company.

You will work closely with the finance team and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Perform bank account and other general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Perform variance analysis on costs and revenues.
  • Create schedules to support account reconciliation.
  • Process journal entries
  • Assist with complex spreadsheets.
  • Assist with annual audit.
  • Ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 23 Years accounting and bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity software, experience with INFOR an asset

Requirements:


  • Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Police Check
  • Covid19 vaccination proof
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English.

Job Type
Full-time - Contract 3- 9 months


Salary:

Starting at $40.00 per hour


Working Conditions

  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:30am 4:30pm)
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours each day.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs independently.
