Geology Technician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Geology Technician to join our team in Rankin Inlet, Canada.

The successful candidate will assist production geologists with drilling campaigns, manage ore packets, and collect samples. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about geology and have a strong work ethic.

About the Job:

This position involves assisting production geologists with various tasks including drilling campaigns, sampling, and data collection. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Required Skills:

• Candidate must hold a College Diploma in mineral technology or related field,
• A minimum of 2 years of mining experience (geological support or similar roles),

A valid driver's license is also required for this role. Additionally, candidates should possess good problem-solving skills and be proficient in operating specialized equipment such as drills and sampling tools.

The selected individual will receive extensive training on company policies procedures during their first few weeks on site.The technician will not require supervision while working alone using knowledge they acquire from initial weeklong training period provided at company premises prior starting shift .
