    Our finance group are looking for financial analyst, your responsibilities will be:

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and/or analyze financial models to calculate profitability of projects of the Company (mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, joint ventures, project financings).
    • Analyze factors that influence profitability of projects.
    • Participate/Coordinate due diligence with customers or partners.
    • Review all projects to ensure all employees be informed of local issues, risks and other considerations, legal structure.
    • Review all contract clauses for commercial/financial documents and make recommendations such that CAE's risk is minimized and customer's requirements are met.
    • Provide support for all commercial product lines (bids/proposals).
    • Work in collaboration with Marketing/Business Development department to present projects to internal and external customers, based on knowledge of the business model and accounting/financial principles.

    Requirements:

    • University degree; Finance/Accounting/Business background. MBA/M.Sc. is an asset.
    • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in the corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions or private equity areas.
    • Accounting designation and/or CFA completed or in progress.
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and accounting principles.
    • Relevant experiences in structured finance and/or business cases and/or mergers and acquisitions are assets.
    • Good analytical skills.
    • Teamwork oriented and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision & within schedule.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with upper management, colleagues, customers and financial institution.
    • Bilingualism in both French and English is required.
