Why This Role?

Core Duties and Responsibilities

As a Credit Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Extracting and analyzing data from financial institution systems for communication with borrowers;
Preparing correspondence with borrowers and/or communicating with team members to confirm next steps;
Managing borrower and file related deadlines, prioritizing files based on rate of recovery;
Reviewing due diligence related to recovery/enforcement of debt;
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of file information for clients; and,
Coordinating all reporting requirements for clients and lawyers;

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset;
Previous experience working in customer service;
Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, and make sound judgement calls;
Experience working in debt recovery considered a significant asset;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Strong ability to manage your time and demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in deadline driven work environment;
Ability to achieve financial and other specified targets;
